Nathan Collins is an award-winning investigative reporter currently based in the southeast. His work helped to uncover millions in taxpayer money misspent by a local town leader, debunked federal officials' claims about those being arrested in immigration raids and highlighted North Carolina's grossly impacted child welfare system. 

 

Collins was named a Texas Broadcast News Award winner while based in Dallas, along with being named the city's "Best Reporter" by D magazine, and one of Current's "Rising Stars in Public Media" in 2025. He collaborated on an Associated Press investigation that was named a Pulitzer Prize finalist.​
